Caribbean Academy for Recording Arts and Sciences
Caribbeanculture.com is proud to introduce the formation of The Caribbean Academy for Recording Arts and Science. CARAS © is the new foundation for the development of Caribbean Music.  The mission of this organization is to establish professional standards for Caribbean music genres and the solidification of Caribbean Music genres as a global industry.  This membership organization will provide chapters in each region of the world and host an annual awards ceremony to recognize the achievements of the industry's talents in all categories.  In addition, CARAS © will establish a Caribbean Music Hall of Fame and facilitate international and regional conferences to promote the diversity and cultural heritage of Caribbean Music Genres.  CARAS © will convene professionals from all aspects of the recording arts and sciences that reflect Caribbean indigenous music and culture.  Members will be part of the Caribbean Recording Artists and Musicians Association (CRAMA ©)  For more information contact  Joseph Johnson at 617-821-6943 to become a member.  www.CRAMA.org and www.CARAS.com
