ST KITTS---Senator Ricky Skerritt, Minister of Tourism, Sports & Culture for St. Kitts, has announced that the 14th Annual Island of St. Kitts Music Festival will be held from 24-26 June, 2010 at Warner Park Stadium. These dates immediately following the second Test Match between West Indies and South Africa, which will also be hosted at Warner Park, from 18-22 June, 2010. According to NY US Census officials, some largely West Indian areas in NY had response rates as low as in the 20-45 percent range during the last Census in 2000. These low response rates have the effect of lost federal funding in these areas as well as lower political clout.
